Okay, y'all, I know where I'll be lookin' when I want grilled chicken again - BD Southern! The grilled chicken - piping hot with that wood smoked flavor! - came with bbq sauce that was really good, too - AND, we'll have plenty left over for another meal or two! Sis got potato salad that was so yummy (she let me have a little bite)! Collard greens and yams were excellent, too! I cannot sing enough praises for how good this food is. Haven't tried their grilled shrimp salad in a while, so will probably get that next time. Last time I got it, I loved it!

I found this place while looking for something for dinner for my family of 6. Not wanting to go to an actual restaurant and have a sit down dinner bc after a long day at the lego land parks i just wanted to bring food back to our hotel and relax for the rest of the night. When we arrived I was delighted to see there was a drive up window it was raining so I really appreciated not having to get out of my car! Michaela at the window was a delight! She was very helpful and patient with us as we had a pretty big order since I had to get back to the room and feed all them kids. She made sure we had everything we needed and it truly felt like a wonderful experience. Once we ordered I parked in front of the store and before we knew it, Michaela was bringing our order out. Our hotel was only about 10 minutes away but let me tell you that was the longest 10 minutes of my life with the incredibly tantalizing smell of the food teasing us the entire way back! Seriously it smelled so good in my car I considered pulling over! But I made it back and set up our plates which made for the most amazing dinner we've had in a long time! We sat at a table outside and everyone walking slowed down to see what we had because it just looked and smelled so amazing! We ordered 2 chicken wing platters one fried pork chop platter and a cheese burger with pickles per my toddler's request. Everything tasted fresh & delish! My picky kids said it was the best meal ever! We also order a sweet potato pie for desert which we all loved as well! I'm soooo glad I found this place! I would visit the area just to eat there again. Thank you for an amazing meal and even more amazing service!
We happened along this restaurant while out exploring today. They had the most delicious fried chicken. And I can't say enough about the apple cheesecake.
